What is TMG (Betaine)?
Trimethylglycine (TMG, also known as Betaine) is a naturally occurring molecule that helps to facilitate the methylation process. TMG is a ‘methyl donor’ that plays a vital role in regulating homocysteine levels, which supports heart health, liver health, energy production, detoxification, mood balancing and inflammation control.

Just two capsules daily delivers 1,000mg of TMG, making it an easy and convenient way to add this powerful molecule to your daily routine. AgeMate’s TMG capsules are vegan-friendly, gluten-free, and made with the highest purity of ingredients.

What are the effects?
TMG (Betaine) contributes to a range of benefits including enhanced cognitive function, improved liver function, and heart health, while its effects involve acting as a powerful methyl donor that aids in the process of methylation, thus helping to reduce high homocysteine levels, a risk factor for several chronic diseases.

✓ EASY: Addresses core signs of ageing in one simple capsule
✓ AFFORDABLE: Costs less than a coffee a day
✓ CONVENIENT*: Perfectly measured 500mg caps, no self-measuring needed.

What's The Science On TMG?

Methyl Donor Supplement

Trimethylglycine (TMG), commonly known as betaine, is a naturally occurring compound found in various food products like beets, spinach, and whole grains. It's a derivative of the amino acid glycine and has three methyl groups attached to it, hence the name trimethylglycine. TMG is classified as an osmolyte and a methyl donor, playing a crucial role in cellular function and integrity, as well as critical biochemical processes within the body.

TMG is involved in the conversion of homocysteine, a harmful amino acid, to methionine, a useful one, by donating one of its methyl groups. This process is vital for cardiovascular health, as elevated homocysteine levels are linked to increased risk of heart disease and stroke. In addition, methylation is also a key process in DNA repair and replication, neurotransmitter synthesis, and detoxification, among others, which underlines the wide-ranging effects and benefits of TMG in the body.

Potentially toxic fillers

I have had to cease taking both the Longevity supplement and the TMG as both have given me severe side effects (not a detox reaction). I believe it could possibly be the magnesium stearate used as a filler or binder or some such, and to which some people are allergic, but its presence, or something just as toxic, in all your products means I cannot take them any more.

Hi Christine,

Thank you for sharing your experience, and we’re truly sorry to hear about the side effects you’ve experienced. We take such concerns seriously and understand how important it is to feel safe and comfortable with the products you use.

Magnesium stearate, which is used as a flow agent in the capsules, is generally considered safe for most people, but we do understand that sensitivities can vary. If you suspect magnesium stearate might be the cause of your reaction, I would recommend consulting with your healthcare provider to confirm whether it could be a specific sensitivity for you.

I see that we’ve already addressed this via email, and your order has been refunded. We want to ensure you have the best experience, so if you’d like to explore other options, we do have products without magnesium stearate or similar ingredients. We’d be happy to assist you in finding the right fit.

Your health and well-being are our top priority, and we’re here to support you. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to us directly at hello@agemate.com if you need any further assistance or have additional questions.

Kind regards,
Leslie

Your Non Response

I cancelled my orders due to the chats where customers have experienced problems with your NMN giving liver problems. You have not answered them adequately and you have not responded to me. I have introduced a number of people to you and I am now withdrawing my support and seeking refunds from you.

Hi Geoff,

Thank you for sharing your concerns with us. We sincerely apologize if it seemed your previous inquiries were left unanswered. Upon reviewing your history with us, I see that each of your previous messages received responses, but we’re truly sorry if they didn’t fully address your questions. We're eager to resolve this matter for you and make sure you feel confident in our product and support.

Regarding NMN and liver health, please allow us to clarify based on current research. Nicotinamide Mononucleotide (NMN) is generally considered safe and has been extensively studied for its health benefits. Research shows NMN supports cellular energy, DNA repair, and overall vitality without adverse effects on liver health, even in long-term use. While online discussions may occasionally raise concerns, these are not supported by clinical evidence in healthy individuals. However, each person is unique, and we’re here to discuss any specific questions you have about NMN’s effects.

Thank you for initially recommending AgeMate to others. We’re here to restore your trust and will do everything possible to make sure you feel fully informed and supported. Please reach out to us directly, and we’ll be happy to assist with your questions or refund requests. Your peace of mind is our priority.

Best regards,
Michael

TMG

I have been taking TMG & NMN for a few weeks now and definitely feel the difference in my energy levels. Blood pressure still high however.
I was thinking of maybe swapping my two subscription orders for the daily. Just need to work my figures.
Thank you AgeMate!

Hey Jacqui,

Thank you so much for the 5-star review! We're glad to hear that TMG & NMN have made a positive difference in your energy levels within just a few weeks. That's amazing!

We understand your concern about your blood pressure. While TMG & NMN offer many benefits, they may not directly address blood pressure concerns. We recommend speaking with your doctor about your specific needs and creating a personalized plan to manage your blood pressure.

Regarding your subscription options, you can change your subscriptions anytime by logging in to our website using the email associated with your subscription. Alternatively, you can send us an email so we can make the changes for you.

Please let us know if you need help. We're happy to assist.

What is This?

I regularly the NMN powder which at the moment l am unsure what noticable benefit (if any) l am having. As far as the capsules are concerned, l have no idea what they are or the benefit (if any) in taking them. I noticed that the directions for use are basically unreadable.

Hey Graham,

I'm sorry if you haven't obeserved any difference yet as the effects of NMN can vary from person to person due to differences in metabolism. Some individuals may notice its effects more quickly than others.

To enhance the benefits, consider gradually increasing your dosage by 250mg at a time, up to a maximum of 1000mg. Monitor how you feel after each increase to ensure you're tolerating it well. For example, if you're currently taking 500mg daily, try taking 750mg for the next 7 days, making sure to take it sublingually. You may keep taking 1000mg of TMG as it helps with methylation.

Consistency is crucial with supplements. Taking NMN regularly with the best dosage will help you achieve optimal results.

NMN and in turn NAD+ can affect energy levels, sleep quality, mental focus, fatigue levels, metabolism, and more, whilve TMG contributes to a range of benefits including enhanced cognitive function, improved liver function, and heart health, while its effects involve acting as a powerful methyl donor that aids in the process of methylation, thus helping to reduce high homocysteine levels, a risk factor for several chronic diseases.

I hope it helps, please let me know if you need help.

Cheers,
Michael

Over Methylation

I found I was getting tired and cranky on TMG and looked into it further and found that some people can have an issue with over methylation. I have stopped taking it and have felt better. Might be worth having some information about methylation overload. when is it good to take it and when it might not.

Hi, Jon!

Thank you for sharing your experience with TMG. We appreciate your feedback.

It's important to note that while TMG can provide benefits for some, others may experience issues like over methylation. This can indeed cause symptoms such as fatigue and anxiety.

We are glad to hear that you are feeling better after stopping TMG. Your insights are valuable to us and if you have any other question or concern, please let us know. We're here to help! :)

Cheers,
May
