What is TMG (Betaine)?
Trimethylglycine (TMG, also known as Betaine) is a naturally occurring molecule that helps to facilitate the methylation process. TMG is a ‘methyl donor’ that plays a vital role in regulating homocysteine levels, which supports heart health, liver health, energy production, detoxification, mood balancing and inflammation control.

Just two capsules daily delivers 1,000mg of TMG, making it an easy and convenient way to add this powerful molecule to your daily routine. AgeMate’s TMG capsules are vegan-friendly, gluten-free, and made with the highest purity of ingredients.

What are the effects?
TMG (Betaine) contributes to a range of benefits including enhanced cognitive function, improved liver function, and heart health, while its effects involve acting as a powerful methyl donor that aids in the process of methylation, thus helping to reduce high homocysteine levels, a risk factor for several chronic diseases.

✓ EASY: Addresses core signs of ageing in one simple capsule
✓ AFFORDABLE: Costs less than a coffee a day
✓ CONVENIENT*: Perfectly measured 500mg caps, no self-measuring needed.

What's The Science On TMG?

Methyl Donor Supplement

Trimethylglycine (TMG), commonly known as betaine, is a naturally occurring compound found in various food products like beets, spinach, and whole grains. It's a derivative of the amino acid glycine and has three methyl groups attached to it, hence the name trimethylglycine. TMG is classified as an osmolyte and a methyl donor, playing a crucial role in cellular function and integrity, as well as critical biochemical processes within the body.

TMG is involved in the conversion of homocysteine, a harmful amino acid, to methionine, a useful one, by donating one of its methyl groups. This process is vital for cardiovascular health, as elevated homocysteine levels are linked to increased risk of heart disease and stroke. In addition, methylation is also a key process in DNA repair and replication, neurotransmitter synthesis, and detoxification, among others, which underlines the wide-ranging effects and benefits of TMG in the body.

Not Sure Yet

I'm not sure what's working yet as it's only early days and I do take an extra amount of supp's also! One thing though is the powder packets are very small to get your hand into so I've bought containers to pour the powder into. The caps would be my next go to I guess.

Thanks for your feedback, Scott! We're actively working on a new and better packaging which we're hoping to release in the near future after undergoing some tests :) If you need help with anything, just let me know.

Cheers,
Lai

I feel good

My initial week of using NMN and Resveratrol started with 500mg dose of each. I suffered headaches and felt a little unwell, so I did some research, ordered the TMG (1000mg) and started again. 250mg a day of each, and then over the next four weeks increased it up to 1000mg per day.
I find I have a sense of profound wellbeing, I feel less pushed around by life and can cope better with my everyday. I have an energy and drive that I haven’t felt in a very long time and I am surprised by how well I am recovering from running and gym workouts. I am 54 and looking forward to where this adventure takes me. 🤗

Thank you, Sarah! This is wonderful to hear, really appreciate you taking the time to share your experience :)

Cheers,
Andrea

6 weeks

Haven’t felt a significant difference on 500mg but told my skin looks great. Will keep taking for now and see as I think you need 3 months to see if there’s a benefit

Thanks, Jane. Try upping the dose if you can. NMN is very dose dependent and you can work your way up to 1,000mg daily. And yes, the body needs 8-12 weeks to fully restore NAD to optimal levels. :)
